ALFABETER was Margrete Sørensen’s third solo exhibition at Stalke Galleri since 1988. Presented in 1998, the exhibition brought together a series of new works that continued the artist’s sustained investigation of systems, signs, and structures as visual and spatial principles. Through a consistent material and formal precision, the exhibition was conceived as a coherent installation in which repetition and variation functioned as central elements in the relationship between artwork, space, and viewer.
