Frankfurt Art Fair 2000
March 24th - March 27th, 2000
Stalke Galleri at Art Frankfurt 2000
Stalke Galleri was pleased to announce its participation in Art Frankfurt 2000 and looked forward to welcoming visitors at its booth.
At Art Frankfurt, Stalke Galleri presented new and retrospective works by the following artists:
William Anastasi lived and worked in New York. In his practice, he engaged with classic Conceptualist questions of authenticity, originality, reproduction, and multiplicity.
Since 1981, Anastasi had worked with the word “Jew,” first as a drawing and later, in 1985, as a painting. As a natural development of this ongoing project, the work was subsequently presented as prints.
William Anastasi was represented in numerous public collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Leo Castelli Gallery, New York; the Art Institute of Chicago; the Philadelphia Museum of Art; and Kunstmuseum Düsseldorf, among others.
At Art Frankfurt 2000, William Anastasi presented both new and retrospective prints and drawings.
Per Bak Jensen lived and worked in Copenhagen, where he served as a senior lecturer in photography at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. He had held several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Denmark and internationally.
Per Bak Jensen was represented in several museum collections, including ARKEN Museum of Modern Art, Copenhagen; The Royal Library, Copenhagen; the Bibliothèque nationale de France, Paris; the International Center of Photography, New York; and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
At Art Frankfurt 2000, Per Bak Jensen presented new and retrospective works.
