STALKE UP NORTH

Stalke Gallery is delighted to invite you to the opening of Stalke Up North in Gilleleje, Saturday, December 8, from 3–6 PM.

Stalke Up North will function as a smaller show and project room for Stalke Gallery and will be an exciting addition to the gallery's other activities.

Stalke Up North will aim to hold 3–4 annual exhibitions/projects and openings, with Camilla Rohde Madsen overseeing daily operations. She has many years of experience in gallery management and has been continuously working with Stalke Gallery in Copenhagen since 1994, as well as at the gallery's current location in Kirke Sonnerup near Roskilde.

The opening exhibition, Christmas Group Show, features a selection of artists who define the gallery's profile today and have participated in its exhibition program over the past 2–3 years.

Notable names include William Anastasi, Dove Bradshaw, William Anthony, Gunnar Örn, and, from the younger generation, Kristleifur Björnsson, Nikolaj Recke, Tiina Nummimen, Anne Bennike, Bella Angora, and Christian Falsnaes. The latter two also present their simultaneous exhibition project titled Bella Angora vs. Christian Falsnaes in Copenhagen at North, Nørregade 7c. Stalke Gallery is also the organizer of this project.

Come and join us in celebrating the opening of Stalke Up North. We will serve a glass of mulled wine on the day.

The exhibition ends on February 7, 2008.
