Publications and Catalogues
Over the years, Stalke Galleri has published several catalogues featuring the work of William Anthony, contributing to the documentation and dissemination of his distinctive artistic practice and his critical engagement with both art history and contemporary culture. These publications have played a key role in introducing Anthony’s visual universe and ideas to a broader audience.
Among the most notable are Ironic Icons (2013) and Deviant Draftsmanship (2021), both produced in collaboration with Sam Jedig. These catalogues present a selection of Anthony’s key works, accompanied by texts that illuminate his enduring preoccupation with absurdity, humor, and the inherent fallibility of the human condition.
Rather than serving merely as documentation, the catalogues function as extensions of Anthony’s artistic method—where form and content interact to question the role of art and challenge conventional frameworks within the art world.
