Ralf Schauff (b. 1968) is a German contemporary artist whose work moves between painting, text, and cultural references. His practice examines the relationship between surface and meaning, creating a poetic yet often critical dialogue between image and language.
In 1998, Schauff exhibited together with Michaela Eichwald at Stalke Galleri in Copenhagen in a large-scale dual exhibition curated by Daniel Buchholz from Cologne. The project, developed in collaboration with Buchholz’s gallery, became a significant encounter between the emerging German art scene and Stalke’s international platform.
