Giancarlo Savino (b. Naples, Italy) is an Italian painter known for his emotionally charged works that explore solitude, spirituality, and the human condition. After his early solo exhibitions at Galleri Jedig in Copenhagen, Savino continued his collaboration with Stalke Galleri in 1990s, where he presented several solo shows.
Savino’s paintings from this period combine poetic symbolism and expressive color with psychological intensity. Rooted in the traditions of European expressionism, his work reflects a deep engagement with the inner landscape of emotion and memory. In Denmark, his exhibitions positioned him as a distinctive artistic voice connecting Southern and Northern European sensibilities.
