Introduction
Stalke Galleri was established in 1987 as a direct continuation of the independent artistic initiatives developed under Galleri Jedig. From the outset the gallery functioned as an experimental and internationally oriented platform for contemporary art. Between 1987 and 1993 the gallery evolved through exhibitions, international collaborations, structural transitions, travels, publications and—most importantly—the creation of the nomadic curatorial format Stalke Out Of Spacein 1991.
This chronology highlights a curated selection of key moments and milestones from 1987 to 2025.
